Hi, friend! How are you? 💛
How’s your week going so far? Are you working on any projects or taking the time to document your story lately?
My family and I watched Hamilton on Disney+ several times over the weekend — my kids and I have been obsessed with the music for a few years, and some of the lyrics that stuck out to me each time I’ve watched it is, “who lives, who dies, who tells your story?”
Ali Edwards talks a lot about this as well, being the storyteller, and how our stories are worth telling. Also, how for her, scrapbooking and documenting is how she makes sense of her life (I wholeheartedly agree with that statement).
I’ve been loving working in my Positivity Passport lately. It’s been such a bright spot in my day. And since it’s so small and compact, I don’t have to go overboard with journaling or embellishing. It’s a very doable project — and I love that it has a start and a finish.
Here’s my progress so far:
supplies used: Natterdoodle “Sprinkle Positivity Confetti” sticker // Positivity Passport Kit sticker
supplies used: Everyday Explorers “Lockdown Life” stamp set // Studio Calico gold clips (these are from an old Documenter kit and I can’t find the exact ones to link, but I found similar ones at Michaels) // Shimelle “Little by Little” alpha stickers (this collection is from 2017, so it’s hard to find online — but I found it at my local Tuesday Morning) // Heidi Swapp “Storyline” Ephemera with Foil Accents
supplies used: Rad Mail washi tape from Rad & Happy (it’s from this month’s kit) // “Hamilton” digital stamp set by Everyday Explorers // Shimelle “Little by Little” alpha stickers
I love this little Positivity Passport project so, so much and am so thankful to Tazhi for inviting us all to look for the good in each day throughout the month of July.
If you have any questions, please leave a comment or DM me on Instagram. I’d love to hear from you. Take care and have a great rest of your week. 💛
