Hi, friend! How are you? ๐
How’s your week going so far? Are you working on any projects or taking the time to document your story lately?
My family and I watched Hamilton on Disney+ several times over the weekend โ my kids and I have been obsessed with the music for a few years, and some of the lyrics that stuck out to me each time I’ve watched it is, “who lives, who dies, who tells your story?”
Victoria Marie made a post on Instagram yesterday that reminded me of those lyrics. It’s so important for us to tell our stories for generations to come, and for us.
Ali Edwards talks a lot about this as well, being the storyteller, and how our stories are worth telling. Also, how for her, scrapbooking and documenting is how she makes sense of her life (I wholeheartedly agree with that statement).
I’ve been loving working in my Positivity Passport lately. It’s been such a bright spot in my day. And since it’s so small and compact, I don’t have to go overboard with journaling or embellishing. It’s a very doable project โ and I love that it has a start and a finish.
Here’s my progress so far:
