I hope you had a good weekend and a chance to rest and recharge.  There are only a few weeks until the new school year begins around here, but we’re still in full summer mode: lazy mornings, afternoon naps, walks around the neighborhood, berry picking, water fights, basking in the shining sun — and I’m here for it.

Still, it’s not our usual jam-packed summer.  Emotions are running high around here and I’m definitely thankful that we all can reset with a nap, some time spent in a good book, crafting something fun, or a family movie night.

I spent some time this past weekend making a bunch of cards with super cute, summery papers from Dear Lizzy’s “Stay Colorful” collection.  The sentiments in this collection are so timely (“Good Times Ahead,” “Good Things Are Coming,” and “Treat Yo’Self”).  Keep an eye on my Etsy shop — I’m going to list them in there this week.
