Hi, friend! Happy Monday! How are you? 💛
Is your week off to a good start? Did you have a good weekend?
I had so much fun this past weekend at Victoria Marie‘s virtual crop. It was the most wonderful creative catalyst for me and I made some 12×12 layouts for the first time in ages! I’ve been making so many cards lately, I can’t remember the last time I made a full-page layout or worked on my favorite scrapbooking projects: Project Life, Week in the Life, and December Daily (I still have a few albums and countless spreads to finish! Which is totally okay — years ago, I was in a constant panic to stay current with each project, but that left me so burnt out. So, nowadays, I work on it whenever I can, as long as I can, and it’s much more enjoyable! 😊).
I ran some errands this morning — the library, Costco, and (most importantly 😉) the post office, and I mailed out quite a few cards to friends. I seriously LOVE making them — so, if you’d like a few for free, please know you can DM me @happymailmonday on Instagram and let me know where I can send them.
It had been a few weeks since I’d sent cards to friends and family — and I’d missed the catharsis of writing. I love writing cards so much — and I always love getting a text or call from a loved one, telling me, “I got your card!” and how much it brightened their day. Because, seriously — how often do we get mail that isn’t 1) junk or 2) a bill? HARDLY EVER! Ugh. The mail should be more joyous! Right?
I loved participating in the Positivity Passport challenge throughout the month of July and a few of my entries included receiving something fun in the mail. So, seriously — do not doubt the power of happy mail (especially right now)!
I hope this inspires you to send some words of encouragement and love this week! And remember — if you want a few cute, handmade cards for FREE, just DM me on Instagram!
Have a good week! Stay safe and be well. 💛
